# Valid & Invalid URL Examples

> Examples of URLs that pass and fail Finogates's URL validation checks.

## Overview

This page provides clear examples of URLs that **meet** Finogates’s requirements, and those that will be **rejected** during validation. Use these examples as a reference when generating or verifying document URLs.

## Valid URL Examples

These URLs use HTTPS, point directly to downloadable files, and meet all security and accessibility requirements:

## Quick Tips

* Always test URLs in an **incognito browser** — if it requires login, it will fail validation.
* Avoid preview/share pages from cloud storage.
* Direct links **must** end with a file extension (e.g., `.pdf`, `.jpg`, `.png`).
* Ensure the file is publicly reachable via HTTPS.
